Encryption
All email addresses stored by us are encrypted. This means we cannot see which email address belongs to which user. Instead, an anonymous ID is created for your account, which can be used to delete your user data.
2. How we use your information
We process personal data for the following purposes:
• To ensure the app and game function as intended
• To determine your position and activate location-based game events
• To track your game progress
• To handle support requests and feedback
3. Legal basis for processing
We process your data based on:
• Consent – for GPS data and optional features
• Contract – when processing is required for the game to operate

6. Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time by:
1. Opening the app
2. Navigating to the “Feedback” menu
3. Selecting “Delete Account”
Your user ID and all data associated with it will then be permanently deleted.
We cannot restore a deleted account.
7. Your rights
As a user, you have the right to:
• Request access to the information we process about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of personal data
• Withdraw consent (e.g., for location data)
• File a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY)

8. Advertising and marketing
Geo Escape does not use advertisements, either in the app or on our website.
We do not share user data with ad networks or advertising platforms, nor do we use personal data to create profiles or target marketing to our users.
All data processed within Geo Escape is used solely to ensure the technical functionality of the game and to improve the user experience. We do not conduct marketing based on user behavior, and we do not collaborate with external parties that display ads.
9. Privacy of children
Geo Escape can be used by people of all ages, including children.
We do not process any information that allows us to personally identify users.
When creating an account, an email address is used. This email address is stored only in encrypted form, and we can never view it in plain text. Instead, an anonymous user ID is created and used for all game-related data.
This means we cannot link an account to any specific person, whether a child or an adult.
If we discover that we have unintentionally collected directly identifiable information about a child, we will delete it immediately.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when necessary. The latest version is always available in the app and on our website.
